Everett Urgent Care Center Discusses the Many Benefits of Walking


If you want to keep your heart healthy, you have to get it pumping. According to the American Heart Association, people should get around 150 minutes of moderate exercise, or 75 minutes of vigorous exercise, per week to keep their ticker in excellent condition.

That being said, not everyone is thrilled with the idea of jogging. If you’re one of them, don’t worry! Walking is also an effective form of cardiovascular exercise. Furthermore, you can easily incorporate walking into activities you already enjoy.
